The Z-Ring is an item in the Pokémon series. It was introduced in Pokémon Sun and Moon as a key item that lets the player perform Z-Moves.
Function[]
The Z-Ring allows the user to slot in one of the Z-Crystals so, when performing a set of poses, the Pokémon can use a Z-Move. The Z-Ring also has slots for the other Z-Crystals when not in use. Once the play acquires the Key Stone, the Z-Ring can be used to Mega Evolve their Pokémon. The Z-Ring is made from Sparkling Stones, which are typically given by the Guardian Spirits and refined by the Kahunas.
Z-Power Ring[]
In Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, the Z-Power Ring was introduced. It functions mostly the same as the original except more special Z-Moves are available.
Merchandise[]
Alongside the release of Sun and Moon, Takara Tomy released toy versions of the Z-Ring that light up according to the Z-Crystal placed in the slot. The base version in Japan included an Electrium Z Z-Crystal and the Starter included the following other Z-crystals with other Z-Crystals being released in separate sets.
- Normalium Z
- Firium Z
- Waterium Z
- Grassium Z

In the rest of the World, the Z-Ring was only available with the following crystals, with the rest being in sets:
