Yusuke Ohmura is a character artist and illustrator. Initially he joined Game Freak on 2005, where he worked on various Pokémon and character designs since Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.
He designed the graphics for the Pokéathlon in HeartGold and SoulSilver, and most of the trainer characters in Black and White and Black 2 and White 2. For Sun and Moon, Ohmura became the lead Pokémon designer, replacing Ken Sugimori.
In 2016, Yusuke Ohmura left Game Freak and became a freelance artist; however, he was still hired for Pokémon Sword and Shield, where he designed Marnie, Zacian and Zamazenta.[1]
