Yuki Kaji (born September 3, 1985) is a Japanese actor, voice actor, and singer affiliated with the agency VIMS who had various roles with Nintendo, most notably Clemont in Pokémon the Series: XY, Takumi in Fire Emblem Fates, Link in Hyrule Warriors, and Hero (Dragon Quest VIII) in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Outside from Nintendo, Kaji is best known for Eren Yeager in Attack on Titan, Shoto Todoroki in My Hero Academia, Issei Hyodo in High School DxD, Kozume Kenma in Haikyu!!, Meliodas in The Seven Deadly Sins, Koichi Hirose in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and Gaon in Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger. Since 2019, Kaji is married to fellow voice actor Ayana Taketatsu, who also have involvement with Nintendo.
Biography[]
Kaji won the Best Rookie Actor Award in the 3rd Seiyu Awards. He won the Best Voice Actor Award two times consecutively at the 7th Seiyu Awards and 8th Seiyu Awards. He has hosted the web radio show Yuki Kaji's Monologue since March 2014. His variety show Kaji 100!: The 100 Things Yuki Kaji Wants to Do debuted on the Nitteleplus channel in April 2017. Kaji married Ayana Taketatsu on June 23, 2019. On June 30, 2022, Kaji and Taketatsu announced that they were expecting their first child together. On November 3, 2022, the couple announced the birth of their first child.[1]

- Due to his role as Eight in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, he dreamed of doing voice work for the Dragon Quest and Super Smash Bros. franchises, and he was enthusiastic to fulfill both at the same time in Ultimate.[2]
- His wife, Ayana Taketatsu provides the voice of Jessica Albert in the Nintendo 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.
