Young Link is a character in The Legend of Zelda series, though only named Young Link in the Super Smash Bros. games and Hyrule Warriors. He is the child incarnation of the Hero of Time from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

This Link was orphaned as an infant during a bloody civil war that took place a decade before the events of Ocarina of Time. His mother, mortally wounded, fled into the Lost Woods and before dying offered him to the Great Deku Tree and Kokiri people who raised him as one of their own.

In the Super Smash Bros. series, Young Link made his debut in Smash Bros. Melee. Young Link differs from adult Link by being faster, more agile and lighter; but because he yet lacks the strength to wield the Master Sword his attacks are weaker and he instead wields the child-sized Kokiri Sword. He was cut in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, being replaced by Toon Link, but made his triumphant return in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
