The game was received well by Famitsu giving the game a 36 out of 40. On Metacritic, Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters received a metascore of 73/100 based on 24 critic reviews.[1]
Sales
The game had an explosive start with 1.28 million sales in its first week and over 2 million by the end of that month.
