The Yiga Clan Hideout is a location in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is the headquarters of the villainous Yiga Clan, located in Karusa Valley.

Description[]

The Yiga Clan hideout is heavily guarded, so stealth is essential to get through the place. The first chamber is a small room with tapestries everywhere. After uncovering the staircase leading into the hideout, Link has to carefully go through each room while trying to avoid being caught by the patrolling Yiga Blademasters; if he gets caught, the Blademasters will summon Yiga Footsoldiers to fight Link. However, Link can use Mighty Bananas to distract the guards and sneak past without being noticed: the more bananas he drops, the longer he can distract the guards.

The Yiga Blademasters in the hideout are extremely dangerous, because they have the ability to kill Link with just one sword strike. Compounding this is the fact that fairies will be unable to revive Link in the hideout; Mipha's Grace won't work either.

After eluding the guards, Link comes to a small room with buried treasure chests, and a wall he can pull open using Magnesis, to reveal Master Kohga's hangout. Once Master Kohga is beaten and Link has retrieved the Thunder Helm, the hideout becomes abandoned.
