X-Scape, titled X-Returns in Japan and 3D Space Tank in PAL regions, is a DSiWare video game published by Nintendo and developed by Q-Games. It is a sequel to X, a Game Boy title developed by British game developer Argonaut Games (also the creators of Star Fox). Dylan Cuthbert, one of the people who worked on the original game, is currently the president of Q-Games in Japan.

Gameplay

X-Scape has two game modes, tunnel mode and free-movement mode. The tunnel mode is similar to the main game mode in the predecessor X, though is tounch controlled with enhanced graphics. In free-movement mode, players will be able to participate in missions on the surface of the planets, but can only access this mode after a tunnel stage is completed.
