Appearances

Main Pokémon games

Woopers first appeared in Pokémon Gold and Silver, where they could be caught on Route 32 at night. They once again appeared in the second generation's third entry, Pokémon Crystal, where they could be found on Route 32, Ruins of Alph, and Union Cave. In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, the above games' remakes, they could found on Route 32. They also appeared in the third and fourth generation of titles, and in several Pokémon spin offs. Woopers have played a prominent role in several Pokémon anime episodes.

Other Pokémon games

Super Smash Bros. series

In Super Smash Bros. Melee, a float in the shape of Wooper appeared on the unlockable stage Poké Floats. It appeared on screen more than the other Pokémon floats, and could be traversed on. Despite appearing in the game, no trophy of Wooper was provided.
