Wii U Pro Controller is a controller for the Wii U. It is an updated version of the Wii Classic Controller for the Wii U. It sends wireless signals to the console. The Wii U Pro Controller will not come with the Wii U system; unlike the Wii U GamePad. The Wii U Pro Controller is for people who want something more comfortable, more simple, small, and more mobile than the big Wii U GamePad. It's similar in ways to the layout of the Xbox 360 Controller, with the improvement of the symmetrical analog sticks, but Nintendo have made similar controllers in the past, before the Xbox did. Unfortunately, the Wii U Pro Controller has no earphone/headset jack. What that means is, you want to play some online multiplayer using a headset with a microphone for voice chat, you will have to set down your Wii U GamePad next to you on the couch and connect your headset to it if you want to use it. This might discomfort some, but most shouldn't see much of a problem. Another problem most may notice, is that the Wii U Pro Controller will not be usable with original Wii titles. With that said, you will probably need to buy a seperate controller for your old Wii games. Wii Remotes will work with the Wii U though, so no need to buy more of those.
