The Warp Whistle are item in The Legend of Zelda that latter appeared in Super Mario Bros. 3 for the NES. It is a magic flute that can be played to summon a whirlwind. There are only three in Super Mario Brothers 3, and they will warp the player to farther points in the game, similar to the Warp Zones of the original Super Mario Bros. The Warp Whistle is also an item in the original The Legend of Zelda Game. although the differnce in Legend of Zelda has the opposite effect it actually takes to to places earlier in the game rather then father in the game. When used, it will take Link to the entrance of a dungeon that has already been completed. Both warp whistles play the same tune when operated, despite being in different games. Super Smash Bros. series[]
The tornado's that the Warp Whistle summon appear as stage obstacles on the Hyrule Castle stage. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U one of these tornados is used by Link during his stage intro.
