WarioWare D.I.Y. Showcase was a WiiWare video game that was released alongside WarioWare D.I.Y. on the Nintendo DS. It allowed D.I.Y. owners to send their homemade mini-games wirelessly to the Wii. From there, those mini-games could be played on the Wii. The game came with 70 pre-downloaded mini-games, and was available for 800 Nintendo Points.

The game was made available to gold members of Club Nintendo in 2013.

Cameos

The hosts of WarioWare D.I.Y. Showcase's mini games are different from those in WarioWare D.I.Y. and thus have different microgames to offer. Instead of 9-Volt, the Nintendo themed mini games are offered to the player by 18-Volt. Prior to starting 18-Volt's game blender, a small video plays showing a fictional video game starting up called Jet 18Volt by WariomanSoft. Following this, 18-Volt appears as a space ship and his microgames start arriving.

All of his microgames are based on classic Nintendo games. Games that are represented in Showcase include Wario Land 4, Super Mario Kart (Mario versus Koopa Troopa), Duck Hunt (the white block that appeared where ever the player shot from the original game returns), Famicom Wars, Wrecking Crew, Kousoku Card Battle: Card Hero (the Japanese only Nintendo DS game), Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland, Pikmin, Wild Gunman (Nintendo Entertainment System version), Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, Donkey Kong, Super Mario Advance, a Chiritorie (18-Volt's boss stage. The green fireball from Mario Bros. also appears in this stage), Zelda II: Adventure of Link, Super Mario World, and Donkey Kong 3.
