WarGroove is a tactical turn-based game for the Nintendo Switch inspired by the Advance Wars series. The game was developed by Chucklefish.
Gameplay[]
The game is a turn-based strategy game with up to 4 player multiplayer with each player being one of the 12 different commanders in one of 4 different factions. The game plays mostly like Advance Wars with player spawning units to fight each other with different units having advantages. Different factions get access to different units. The main thing that separates it from Advance Wars is that commanders are separate units.
The single-player has 12 different campaigns for each of the commanders which explore their motivations and personality.

The young Queen Mercia needed to flee from her country in war. The only hope that has now is to find new allies for retaliating.

WarGroove received "generally favorable" reviews on Metacritic holding a metascore of 84/100 based on 42 critic reviews.[1]
