Wanda is a character in the Mario Series that first appeared in the game Mario and Wario for the SNES. In the game, she would guide Mario, Peach, and Yoshi around. She is doing this becasue Wario put a bucket on top of the three characters heads that they can't get off.
In her next appearance, Wario's Woods, she provided Toad with bombs. Since Mario and Wario didn't arrive in the States or Europe, this is her only appearance in the US or Europe.
