WWE Day of Reckoning is the first game in the The Day of Reckoning series of wrestling games on the Nintendo GameCube. There were only 2 games in the series. The second game, Day of Reckoning 2, has been said to be "one of the best wrestling games since WWF No Mercy on the N64".
The Day of Reckoning series features an excellent create-a-wrestler mode, solid controls, and a decent storyline. One of the criticisms of this series is that there seems to be such a limited story mode, and it having not as many wrestlers as the Smackdown series.
