Void Kong is the main antagonist of the Donkey Kong Bananza game and the boss of the VoidCo organization.
Background[]
Void Kong is a selfish, greedy, short-tempered monkey whose goal is to reach the Banandium Root in the Planet Core. In doing so, he kidnapped Pauline from her home and transformed her into Odd Rock. His wish is to receive infinite gold, and is responsible for enslaving different creatures to collect Banandium Gems, and stop Donkey Kong from stopping his plans.
His workers Grumpy and Poppy help Void in his plans.
When fighting him, he rides around in his banana-shaped rocket as he summons circular walls, dangerous objects, lasers, and enemies.
Void built his machine that looks like a big meteor rock capable of digging deep layers underground, and has a banana-shaped remote. After reaching the Forbidden Layer, he was punched away by an unsuspecting alligator king.
In the Emerald Rush DLC, Void Kong has became obsessed with emeralds and would recruit Donkey Kong for a minigame to collect them.
He wears a fluffy coat and is based on a buffy-tufted marmoset species.
