The Virtual Boy controller is the controller that was released specifically for the Virtual Boy. The controller, which is in the shape of an M, features dual d-pads, six face buttons, and two left and right trigger or shoulder buttons. The battery pack, which requires six AA batteries, dips down in the middle, helping to formulate the "M" look of the controller which some have compared to the more recent GameCube controller.
