Uxie(JP) is a species of Pokémon in the series of the same name. It is a dual-type Psychic legendary Pokémon that made its first appearance in the fourth generation games Diamond and Pearl. It is a part of the Lake guardians trio with Azelf and Mesprit. Uxie is known as the Being of Knowledge.

Appearances[]
Main Pokémon games[]
Uxie in Acuity Cavern
Uxie first appeared in Diamond and Pearl and Platinum where Team Galactic use it along with Azelf and Mesprit to create the Red Chain to pull out Dialga or Palkia. After saving the world from Team Galactic, the player would be able to find Uxie in Acuity Cavern.
Other Pokémon games[]
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness: Uxie is the guardian of the Time Gear at Fogbound Lake. Uxie is the first guardian the player and the partner encounter, creating a fake Groudon to attack those who visit the lake and wiping the memories of those who found the place in order to protect the Time Gear. However, Uxie allows Wigglytuff's Guild to leave with their memories intact when they promise not to reveal the secret. Grovyle later steals Uxie's Time Gear.
Super Smash Bros. series[]
A trophy of Uxie is present in the Wii video game Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The Pokémon is one of the many different Legendary Pokémon that appear on the stage Spear Pillar, though unlike some of the species Uxie will have no effect on the gameplay when it appears. The following is Uxie's trophy description in Brawl:
Trophy descriptions[]
- "A Knowledge Pokémon. It's said that Uxie's emergence gave humans the wisdom to improve their lives. This Pokémon possesses the ability to erase the memory of those who see its eyes. Uxie uses status-altering moves in battle--its frequent use of Yawn is very effective in putting foes to sleep. Uxie makes its home in Lake Acuity in the Sinnoh region."
