As promised last month, this month's article is Soul Blazer. This article was chosen via the Nomination page and should have been the September article if I had the time to go through the suggestions during the first week of September. Instead Super Mario World was chosen because it was a genuinely well written article and I didn't really had the time to go for anything I wasn't very familiar with. Sorry for being a little late this month. I am a little busy this week so I could not really evaluate the featured article properly. My presence will also be minimal on the wiki for a day or two after this post. This month's featured article was basically the best not yet featured A class article I could find in a hurry. After examining the Nomination made this month, the article chosen to be featured for August is Henry Fleming. If you want to suggest an A class article on said page, there is a good chance that it will be choosed next month if other users agree with your choice. B class articles that are pretty well written and propose a unique perpective on Nintendo's history like the one of this month can also be proposed. Overcategorization
This blog post is there to inform you that we have noticed a lot of overcategorization in virtual console related games. It has been decided that we will remove all the "Game Released in XXXX (Console, Virtual Console, Region of Release)". There is a lot of them, I normally would take care of that by myself but there is a lot of concerned game and a lot of useless categories. I will still remove every one I see but I would be happy if any one who is willing to would remove them if they see that I missed one or multiple. The image in the blog post should be there to show you what categories I am talking about.

Featured Article - July 2019
After examining the nomination, Picross 3D was deemed currently unfit to be a featured article. It is a C class article that lacks a some information expected of the better written video game articles like the sales or development sections. I know these informations are not necessarily available for every games but I cannot let an article that lacks some essential infomations be featured when there are way more complete video game articles on the website. I would advise anyone wanting to see Picross 3D as a featured article to work on the article until it is worthy of being a class B or A video game article and then I will have no problem validating it as next month's featured article.
