With E3 underway and the Direct starting later today, let's finish with some last minute predictions. Let's first get out of the way what we've learned in the last couple days.
With the E3 press conferences underway, a few notableswitch games have been announced. While most of the games have ignored the Switch, some announcements have been big.
For starters, EA Play didn't really have any Switch content. However, FIFA 19 is coming to the Switch the same day as the other platforms and is improve from 18. Most notable it will include online friendlies. Additionally, Microsoft had one new Switch game from Bandai Namco in the form of Tales of Vesperia marking the series return to Nintendo platforms since the 3DS game Tales of Abyss.

With E3 being less than a week away, let's discuss what Nintendo could directly bring to the table. For starters, let's discuss some ground rules. First, this one is only discuss titles published by Nintendo. It doesn't include any localizations or distributions for third parties. Secondly, this will focus on announcements Nintendo could make at E3 not ones we know so, we'll will be ignoring the ARMS/ Mario Kart team, EPD Tokyo team, Splatoon team and the Nintendo Labo team in EPD and the partners HAL Laboratory (Kirby), Intelligent Systems (WarioWare and Fire Emblem). With E3 being less than a month away, it would be good to discuss what Nintendo will be and could be bringing to the event. To start, we'll discuss all known upcoming Nintendo games.
This will be the core focus of Nintendo's E3 plans with the tournament and it starting Treehouse Live. There will likely be content everyday like Breath of the Wild in 2016 and Super Mario Odyssey in 2017. I think there will be at least two character reveals with the inklings being the main focus of the main trailer similar to the Villager in the Super Smash Bros. for 3DS / Wii U. I think one will be shown at the end of the presentation and one will be an exhibition at the tournament finale (maybe Sakurai vs. the tournament victor).

Here's the breakdown on all the news that came out from the recent investor meeting.
- Nintendo leadership is changing. Tatsumi Kimishima is retiring from his role as President this June. He will still be on the board albeit as an advisory role. In his place will be Shuntaro Furukawa, the General Manager of the Corporate Planning Division. On top of that, Shinya Takahashi received a promotion in the board to a Senior Managing Executive Officer (though still retaining all his previous positions). Yoshiaki Koizumi and Takashi Tezuka are joining the board of directors as an Executive Officer. The biggest rumor so far is the rumor that Ubisoft is developing a tactics game featuring Mario and the Rabbids. The player has control of 8 characters; Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi and 4 Rabbid counterparts and the group progresses through stages in a similar world structure to a typical Mario game.
