Umaro (ウーマロ) is a secret playable character in Final Fantasy VI. He is a Yeti that lives in the mines of Narshe and also takes orders from Mog.
He can be first seen when the world is at balance, occasionally looking out from his hide-out, but it's not until the World of Ruin when the main cast formally meets him. After touching bone carving of his, he attacks, and once between, he allows the group the leave. However, if Mog is in the group at the time, he forces Umaro to join the party.
Umaro is often classified as a berserker, seeing as he constantly attacks. However, in the Game Boy Advance remake, he's classified under the class of "Yeti".
