Tyranitar (JP) is a species of Pokémon in the series of the same name. It is a dual-type Rock/Dark Pokémon that made its first appearance in the second generation games Gold and Silver. It evolves from Pupitar starting at level 55. It can Mega Evolve into Mega Tyranitar using Tyranitarite.
