Twinleaf Town (フタバタウン, Futaba Town in the original Japanese version) is located in the Sinnoh region and the starting point in the Generation IV games. It is a small town with only four houses and a small little pond at the bottom. The bottom right house is where the player and their mom lives, and the top left house is where their rival lives. Twinleaf Town only needs to be visited a few times, mostly at the beginning of the game. Route 201 is just outside Twinleaf Town, and it leads over to Lake Verity.
There are only four different types of Pokémon, all of which are Water type. These can be encountered only by either Surfing on the water or by using a Fishing Rod.
