Tsutomu Kaneshige is a technical programmer for Nintendo. He started back in 1992 at Nintendo R&D1, later moving to Nintendo EAD during the Nintendo 64 era. He is believed to be the programmer who created the tech demo that became Wave Race 64.

Between 2000 and 2006, he acted as program director for the main titles they worked, including Pokémon Stadium 2, Nintendogs, Wii Sports and Wii Play. After such, he moved to a support role, working as a coordinator between the game staff and the development environment teams.
