Totodile is one of the Template:PKMNcount types of fictional Pokémon species. Totodile is one of the Starter Pokémon for Johto along with Cyndaquil and Chikorita. They are water Pokémon. They originated in the second generation of Pokémon video games, which consists of Pokémon Gold and Silver, Crystal, on the Game Boy Color and HeartGold, and SoulSilver on the DS series.

Super Smash Bros. series
Totodile appeared as a trophy in the GameCube video game Super Smash Bros. Melee and the Wii video game Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The following are Totodile's trophy descriptions:
