Nintendo

Togekiss(JP) is a species of Pokémon in the series of the same name. It is a dual-type Fairy/Flying Pokémon that made its first appearance in the fourth generation games Diamond and Pearl. It evolves from Togetic when given a Shiny Stone. It was originally a Normal instead of Fairy type.

In the anime[]

Togekiss made her anime debut in Dawn of a Royal Day!, originally under the ownership of Princess Salvia. Salvia wanted to enter a Pokémon Contest but could not due to her royal obligations. Therefore, she swapped places with Dawn for a day and entered the Arrowroot Contest with Togekiss. After winning, she gave Togekiss to Dawn as a gift as she felt the Jubilee Pokémon would be better off with a traveling Coordinator.

In Pokkén Tournament[]

Togekiss can be used as an assist in Pokkén Tournament.

Trivia[]

  • Togekiss is the only Pokémon that has a gender ratio of 7:1 that have had a female shown in the anime but not a male.
  • In Pokkén Tournament, Togekiss is the only Support Pokémon with a charge time of "Normal".
  • Togekiss, alongside its pre-evolved form Togetic, is one of only two Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus whose "Number defeated" research task maxes out at 1. This is most likely because the only time a Togekiss can be battled in the base game (without Path of Solitude or massive mass outbreaks) is during the final battle with Volo.
