Timmy is Tom Nook's nephew in the Animal Crossing series. Until Animal Crossing: New Leaf, he and his twin brother Tommy ran the furniture section of Tom Nook's store Nookingtons. In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, he and his brother run Nookling stores.

Appearances

Animal Crossing series

Timmy and his twin brother Tommy have appeared in every Animal Crossing game to date, starting with Animal Forest for the Nintendo 64. The two appear together on the upper floor of Nookingtons and assist the player there while Tom Nook runs the bottom floor. The two talk in a very similar fashion. Along with Animal Forest, Timmy has appeared in Animal Crossing, Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk.

Super Smash Bros. series

Tommy and Timmy appeared together in a trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the Wii. The following is the trophy description:

"When Nookway gets remodeled into Nookington's, these twins make their appearance as second-floor salesmen. Tommy's in charge of greeting customers, while Timmy trails along offering support and echoing his older brother's words. Their earnest dedication coupled with their inherent cuteness makes this diminutive duo quite popular."
