The 2009 entry in this series introduces the Golf Party mode. In this mode, you and up to three other players compete to become the champion. You can select from 5, 10, or 15, different minigames. The party mode also features Ball Battles. This is basically a "Tug-of-War" over the golf ball. Players can spend 1 Battle Token to engage a Ball Battle at any time. Press and hold the B button and then flick the Wii Remote in any direction to change the golf ball's angle of flight. At the end of a minigame, points are awarded to all players. The better a player did, the more points they get. After this, players will putt a ball to either earn bonus points, Battle Tokens, or the ability to deduct points from another player. Once the bonus screen is through, we will see the progress screen. The player with the most points at the end wins the game.
