Thunder Force IV, known in North America as Lightening Force: Quest for the Darkstar, is the fourth entry of the scrolling shooter series Thunder Force by Technosoft. The game was originally released for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive in 1992 and it was later re-released for the Nintendo Switch eShop by Sega as part of their Sega AGES series.
