The Terminator is a 1992 action game released by Mindscape to the Nintendo Entertainment System and the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It is based on the popular 1984 science fiction action film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The game was part of The Angry Video Game Nerd's episode on Terminator games. In the review, he criticizes the lack of directions to aim and the game's overall difficulty, comparing the former with the superior game Contra. Also noted are platforms you can miss jumping on and enemies on the ground when you can't shoot at the ground. He also notes that there is a maximum of six lives when it could clearly get up to nine, and that the lives are depleted rapidly.
