"The Missing Link" is the twelfth episode of The Legend of Zelda cartoon, and the animated segment for the 60th episode overall of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! Its corresponding live-action segment is "Tutti Frutti Mario".
Summary[]
Ganon storms onto the Hyrule Castle grounds with a new magic wand that he plans to use to zap Zelda into his Evil Jar. However, when she deflects the zap, it instead bounces around and ultimately zaps Link, so Ganon leaves, telling Zelda that he will only release Link if she surrenders the Triforce of Wisdom. Unbeknownst to the King of Evil, however, is that the blast was only powerful enough to separate Link (now in a ghostly transparent form) from his body, but only Zelda can still see him.
