Changes: The Last Story

The Last Story is a Wii video game developed by Mistwalker and published by Nintendo. Designed by Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of Final Fantasy, it has a similar name to his beloved franchise which, like this title, is a role-playing game. Unlike the Final Fantasy series, a Square Enix franchise, The Last Story was published by Nintendo. The game was released in Japan on January 27, 2011 and European release has been confirmed for February 24 2012.

Alongside Xenoblade Chronicles and Pandora's Tower, a fan campaign dubbed as Operation Rainfall began on June 24, 2011 in an attempt to persuade Nintendo of America to localize these three games. As of June 29, 2011, Nintendo of America have stated that they have no plans to release these games in America despite The Last Story, Pandora's Tower and Xenoblade Chronicles already being confirmed as European releases.
