The story takes place after the events of the movie, in the game you play as Peter Parker, a.k.a "Spider-Man" and you help Dr. Curt Connors create an antidote to cure the infection, along the way you do other sidequests and explore NYC if you choose.
This is quite a fun game, despite it being a game based off of a movie, you fight people, web swing, that's all you do.
The sidequests are usually normal things Spidey would do, saving civilians from being robbed, spotting a gang of thieves
The player earns XP by doing things, such as, knocking out enemies, collecting collectibles, doing actions on the quest that are required.
The XP earned can be used on upgrades to increase attributes of Spider-Man like power and new combos
In this game, there are many collectibles, you can collect comic book pages, magazines, and other things to unlock Outfits for Spidey.
Once you collect Comic Book pages, you can read comic books in the Extras section.
There is a demo for this game available at the Nintendo eShop, like other demos, it's free and it takes up 1001 blocks.
