Tessie is a fictional creature from the SNES game EarthBound, based on the Loch Ness Monster, usually called "Nessie". Tessie is a friendly sea creature with long neck living in Lake Tess that helps Jeff Andonuts and the Bubble Monkey before the former joins Ness's party. Any time after that, the Bubble Monkey can summon Tessie so that it lets the party ride it and thus cross the lake. In Mother 3, Tessie makes a cameo as one of the many creatures and objects that appear in the Empire Porky Building, in the hall with many memories from EarthBound.
