Tencent is a major Chinese company that has numerous subsidiaries in numerous industries. It is considered the largest gaming company. They own several developers including a large stake in Epic Games. In 2019, Nintendo announced that they will distribute the Nintendo Switch in mainland China with iQue becoming just a localization company.

The company owns majority stakes in Grinding Gear Games, Miniclip, Riot Games and Supercell. It owns 40% of Epic Games and has 5% stakes in Activision Blizzard, Ubisoft and Paradox Interactive.
