The Temple of Time is a location in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time that is located in Hyrule Castle Town. This place is where Link can travel seven years forward and back in time after obtaining the Master Sword. When he travels back, he becomes Young Link, and if forward, Adult Link.
This temple is also found in Twilight Princess. This version of the temple is in ruins however as Twilight Princess takes place hundreds of years after Ocarina of Time. Wolf Link and Midna head to the temple after teleporting out of Hyrule Castle to acquire the Master Sword. Later on, Link and Midna return to the temple to recover the third shard of the Mirror of Twilight and discover that they can travel to the past version of the Temple of Time from Ocarina of Time. This version contains a huge dungeon full of dangerous traps and enemies. There is an item inside the dungeon called the Dominion Rod. This item has the ability to make certain types of statues come to life! It also contains the monstrous spider boss called Armogohma. Link eventually kills it and recovers the mirror shard.
At the end of Twilight Princess during the credits, the Master Sword can be seen back in its pedestal.
