Tektites are enemies featured in The Legend of Zelda series. They first appeared in The Legend of Zelda for the NES and has appeared in almost every primary Zelda game, save The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Tektites resemble spiders despite the fact that they only have four legs. They possess amazing jumping powers and sport a single eye in the front of it's body.

There are three different Tektite variations, being Red, Blue and Water Tektites. Red Tektites can only be found on ground, while Blue ones can be found on both land and water. Water Tektites, as their name implies, can only walk on water.
