Tektites are enemies featured in The Legend of Zelda series. They first appeared in The Legend of Zelda for the NES and have appeared in every primary Zelda game excluding The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Tektites resemble spiders of some sort despite the fact that they only have four legs. They possess amazing jumping powers and sport a single eye in the front of it's body. Despite their visual changes in each game, they each have the same abilities when attacking their most prominent opponent Link, the protagonist of the game series.
In all there are three different Tektite variations including Red, Blue and Water Tektites. Red Tektites can only be found on ground while blue ones can be found on both land and water, while Water Tektites, as their name implies, can only walk on water.
