Talo is a young Human in The Legend of Zelda series, mainly featured in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. He is the son of Jaggle and Pergie as well as Malo's brother.

History

Like many inhabitants of Ordon Village, Malo is not a Hylian due to his lack of pointy ears. Early in his life he grew up in Ordon with his brother and their friend Beth. Early in the game Talo is obsessed with capturing a certain Monkey that has been causing trouble across Ordon Village to get the Human's attention. After Link shows them his skill with a weapon, he goes on his own to chase the monkey. Both him and the monkey are captured by the Bokoblins roaming near the Forest Temple. Link saves them but Talo is soon after captured by the King Bulblin alongside Malo, Beth, Colin and Ilia.

The children are later saved by Renado who takes them to Kakariko Village. The entirety of the Eldin is engulfed by the Twilight Realm just after they are captured and as disembodied spirits, the children and the inhabitants of Kakariko Village are attacked by Zant's Shadow Beasts, which only leave a few survivors in the village. After Link saves them, the King Bulblin comes back and try to take Beth away but Colin saves her and is taken in her place. After Link rescue him, Talo begins to respect him. Talo then serves as the watcher of Kakariko Village and if Link enters the village as a wolf, he will alert everyone resulting in the entire population of Kakariko to lock themselves inside their houses. While in Kakariko Village, Talo challenges Link to a Bow minigame. If he succeeds, Talo rewards him with a Piece of Heart. At the end of the game Talo, Malo, Beth, Ilia, Colin, and Link return to Ordon Village together.
