Table Tennis is a sport that you can play in Wii Sports Resort. It is similar to tennis in Wii Sports. It goes to 6 points unless both players have 5 points. After that, it is who ever gets two points ahead.

Stamps

  • In Your Face: For some reason, you get a stamp for hitting your opponent's face with a ball in single-player mode. Of course, you would never hit them in the face on purpose...
  • Back from the Brink: Successfully return a ball that hits the edge of the table and bounces at an unpredictable angle, making it harder to hit. You can only get this stamp in single-player mode.
  • Epic Rally: Keep up a rally (hitting the ball back and forth without stopping) for 30 hits or more in single-player mode.
  • Perfectly Matched: Draw with your opponent in single-player mode. According to the house rules, a match is declared a draw if neither player can get two points ahead and the score reaches 20-20.
  • Table Titan: Beat the table-tennis champion in a match. The current champion quickly surpassed her teacher and has since gone undefeated.

Return Challenge

In Return Challenge, your opponent is constantly serving balls to you and you need to have them return back to the other side of the table without missing it or without missing the table. Once you get 10 successful returns, aluminum cans start appearing on the table. Hitting them will give you an extra 3 points and a new can will appear. For every 50 points you get, the audience watching will cheer for you.

Stamps

  • 50-pointer: Get a score of 50 points or more. Once you can do this, you're well on your way to mastering the art of returns.
  • 100-pointer: Rack up a score of 100 points or more. It takes a little effort to get this stamp, so get in a good rhythm and think fast.
  • 200 pointer: Rack up 200 points or more. The mark of a true pro.
  • Recycler: Knock the can off the table with a ball 30 times in one game. You have to really focus!
  • Save Face: Get a score of 100 points or more without the ball ever hitting the server's face, even if it just takes a bad bounce off a can. Your opponent will appreciate the effort.
