Table Tennis on Wii Play is one of the nine games available. The player points the Wii Remote at the screen to hold the paddle and move the pointer left and right to hit the ball. It hits the ball automatically. The ball when returned also gets increasingly faster. The player needs to try to get as many returns in this game as possible, which makes it similar to the Return Challenge in Table Tennis for Wii Sports Resort. After the player start the game, a Mii will walk on the side and start to cheer the player on. After reaching a rally of 10, another Mii will come in until the player reaches a rally of 70. When coming back for a platinum, more Miis will come in after reaching a rally of 110 and will stop again after reaching a rally of 170.
