Super Sonic in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Super Sonic is Sonic's super form. This form will turn him golden and will allow him to rapidly fly around, ramming into enemies. The move is Sonic's Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii, and acts very similar to the way it did in the Sonic video games.

Super Sonic debuted in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Genesis after Sonic came in possession of seven Chaos Emeralds. Since then Super Sonic has appeared in several Sonic video games.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Once Sonic executes this attack, the screen will pause and seven Chaos Emeralds will surround him and his hair will suddenly turn golden. Sonic will not be capable of performing any attacks while he's Super Sonic, though he can plow through enemies without taking any damage. Nevertheless, his opponents are only able to dodge this attack, they are incapable to attack Super Sonic. Sonic is completely invincible to anything.
His final smash is similar to Yoshi's and Pikachu's, though it should be noted that Yoshi is capable of actually shooting projectiles from his mouth in his mode.

- "Sonic's Final Smash. The Chaos Emeralds give energy to all living things, and Sonic's gathered all seven of them, then used their power to transform into Super Sonic. His abilities in this form far surpass his normal ones, and he is even able to fly. He uses a lot of energy in this form, so he can only remain in it for a short time."
