Super Sonic on Sonic Channel.
Super Sonic is Sonic the Hedgehog's super form in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. When Sonic collects all seven Chaos Emeralds, he transforms into this form, and his fur will change to gold. However, he can only stay in this form if he has Rings, if he runs out of Rings, he will turn back into normal Sonic. Super Sonic debuted in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, which is on the Wii's Virtual Console. There are also other forms of Sonic, including Hyper Sonic, and Darkspine Sonic.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2
In Sonic the Hedgehog 2, the Player needs to collect the seven Chaos Emeralds in long tunnel-like Special Stages, if the Player collects them all, they become Super Sonic. The Player can only fight the final boss if they have all seven Chaos Emeralds.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3

If the Player collects all the Chaos Emeralds in each Story, they will be able to get to the Final Boss of the game, Metal Sonic.
Sonic and the Secret Rings
Darkspine Sonic from Sonic and the Secret Rings.
In Sonic and the Secret Rings, Super Sonic does not appear, however if the Player gets all seven of the World Rings they will be able to fight the Final Boss, as Darkspine Sonic, a similar form, with similar effects.
