The game is a tactical role-playing game featuring a crossover between many robot-based series including Gundam, Mazinger, and Cowboy Bebop. Each of the player's units is a robot piloted by the characters from that series, each with special attacks inspired by their respective series. New to the series are support characters featuring characters that do not normally pilot mechs to provide boosts to the characters.
