Super Robot Wars Gaiden: Masō Kishin — The Lord of Elemental is a role-playing game developed by Winkysoft and published by Banpresto, which was released in Japan on March 22, 1996.
An updated reboot for the Nintendo DS was released in 2010, called Super Robot Wars OG Saga: Masō Kishin – The Lord of Elemental, bringing the game to continuity with the rest of the Original Generation series.
The storytells solely on the origins of the entire Masou Kishin cast, and the genesis of the long feud between Masaki Andoh and Shu Shirakawa. The plot is split into two parts: "Part 1" occurs prior to the events of 2nd Super Robot Wars, while "Part 2" takes place following the end of 4th Super Robot Wars.
