Cheats[]
Fall theme and different enemies[]
Completing Funky from the Special World will change the world map from summer to fall in the SNES version of Super Mario World. Many of the enemies also change such as the Koopa now have Mario's cap on them, and now look like Mini Mario's, Bullet Bills are all replaced with bats, etc.
In Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2, the world map changes from summer to fall only after completing all 96 level exits.
Re-enter castles[]
Unlike the Game Boy Advance version, the original does not allow Mario and Luigi to access a castle a second time, unless pressing the L and R buttons at the same time when on that area selection.
Secret Pathways[]
There are two different level colors (yellow and red). Red indicates that there is a secret pathway in the level while the yellow indicates that it lacks one.
