Super Mario Bros. 2 Inside Out was a tip book, or a "strategy guide", for Super Mario Bros. 2. It was published by Nintendo Power magazine in 1989.
About the tip books[]
The tip book was published in two parts. Part I came inside Nintendo Power volume 7. Part II came inside Nintendo Power volume 8. In order to remove the tip books without damaging the magazine, the reader had to bend back the silver staples, gently pull the book out, then bend the staples back into place.

Part I was a 36-page book that contained complete maps for Worlds 1-4. Part II was a 36-page book that contained complete maps for Worlds 5-7. The books gave in-depth information on enemies, items and all the characters. They also had hints and revealed hidden secrets throughout the game.
