Sumo Kong is one of the main bosses from Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. He is the ruler of the Star Fruit Kingdom, which is accessible after defeating the Cactus King. He is the most difficult boss fight in the game, with the possible exception of the Ghastly King. His blows are very powerful, and defeating him requires deflecting his attacks before they hit Donkey Kong. After a long fist-fight on an asteroid heading toward Earth, Donkey Kong defeats Sumo Kong and goes on to do battle with the Ghastly King.

After the Ghastly King is defeated, Sumo Kong appears at the ending ceremony with the other enemy Kongs to honor Donkey Kong's victory.
