Stench is a Pokémon ability introduced in the third generation. It keeps away wild Pokémon.

Description

Outside of battle, Pokémon with Stench as the lead in the party decrease the chance of encountering wild Pokémon by 50%. Quick Feet and White Smoke have a similar effect.

Starting in the fifth generation, Stench had the added effect of causing a 10% chance of flinching when attacking. This overwrites the effect of King's Rock and Razor Fang.
