Glitches[]
Game freezes up and crashes while scrolling to Campaign 4 mission. In the pirated game of Starcraft 64, there's a game breaking glitch that can crash the game if the player attempts to play Campaign 4 missions and can damage the save CMOS battery or make the save not work after pulling out the cartridge of the slot and reinserting it so the player is limited to playing 3 Campaign game modes.
Version difference from PC[]
The Nintendo 64 uses the controller which makes it harder to scroll as the original Starcraft game is originally designed for the computer mouse.
The voice acting cutscenes from the PC version has been reduced to text cutscenes although there is still voice clips for the character units in the game.
Cinematics have been removed, aside from a shortened version of the first cinematic that plays upon starting up the game. In their place are slideshows of the PC cinematics.
