SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide is a 3D platforming video game, developed by Purple Lamp Studios and published by THQ Nordic, based on the Nickelodeon animated series SpongeBob SquarePants. It was released for the Nintendo Switch 2 (and its contemporaries) on November 18, 2025, notably making it the first Nickelodeon game to be released on that console (unless one counts SpongeBob's appearance in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds).
Plot[]
When the Flying Dutchman and King Neptune's egos collide, the result is pure undersea chaos: spectral mayhem spreads across Bikini Bottom, and only two brave(ish) heroes can set things right. SpongeBob and Patrick must team up, combine their unique skills, and (hopefully) stop the total ghostification of their world.

The game was developed by Purple Lamp Studios, which previous developed the Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated and The Cosmic Shake.
Reception[]
In Japan, four critics from Famitsu gave the game a total score of 32 out of 40, with each critic awarding the game an 8 out of 10.
